So the madness is over for a good while. I won’t go on about how much I love these guys because I’m sure you are all sick of it and know by now.

Tour is meant to be about the shows and the music but it is also about the people who make it for you and the hang-times with those legends (for me anyway). I’m feeling sentimental so I would like to thank the following for making the past few weeks the best ever (in no particular order so don’t be offended). I don’t think half the people on here will ever read this but whatever, this is so I don’t forget:

Beccy - for putting up with me at nearly every date and just putting up with me in general despite my constant need for chips and my tendency to repeat what has just happened a million times over. “I was just like ‘OI!’ and he ran over to snuggle me!” I know I am a noob but I am your noob!

Steph & Char - so if it wasn’t for you tweeting our RoC we would never have met last tour and I’ve been glad to spend another tour with you guys and have some epic memories that I will treasure always. Wish you could’ve come to Amsterdam, Steph! You are a two-some that are not meant to be split! Next time, mate. Next time.

Fran - Fran it sucks that you couldn’t come to more dates but the one you did was good times and I’m glad I decided to go in the end because I missed you a lot. It wouldn’t have been the same without you there, baked or not!

Ashley - You are my best friend of all time, all tiiiime and I am glad you finally got to experience a proper ATL show with me. It sucks that you were poorly but I loved seeing you, as always, and getting my dance on with you. We will be doing it again you mark my words! I love you and miss you so much!

Sofie -You are one of the sweetest people that this band has brought me and I thank them so much for that. We meet and greet failed but Flyzik & Rian love you…not as much as me though! I will fight them!

My Mum & Dad - I must thank them the most because since I don’t have a job any more, they have been reluctantly having to fund my crazy addiction to this band. The girl who gave me the Banquet Records wristband - I wish I knew who you were because you are a freaking legend. If it wasn’t for you, I would be at the back of the queue behind a million noobs and not on the barrier for the acoustic session. I also may not have got into the signing either and produced one of my favourite photos with ATL of all tiiiime!

Alex - I say it all the time but I don’t understand where the knob’ead rumours come from. You are one of the most fun, caring, genuine and grateful members of a band I have ever had the pleasure to be around. You have always made me feel loved and like I am not a ridiculous creeper. When you have time, you will give that time to ANYONE even if they are dicks and put up with all sorts of nooby crap and for that I love you very much!

Rian - I used to think it was an exaggeration when people said you don’t get as much recognition as the other members of the band until I saw it first hand. You are a fackin’ great drummer and I am guilty myself of not noticing it more before this tour. It was all about the intro the show! People need to be appreciating the Awesome Dawson a lot more. You are sarcastic and take the piss out of me all the time but I wouldn’t have you any other way and I will miss you so much!

Jack - Jack your memory never ceases to amaze me as last tour you were the one who remembered nearly everything we had talked about in America and made me feel really special. You still make me feel the same every time I see you even if I am bounding into a shop and interrupting your noodle order haha

Zack - I always thought you didn’t like me at all and I just didn’t understand! Now I feel completely different but I still didn’t get to hang out with you as much as I’d have liked to this tour! Your dancing skillz are mad and I’m sorry I confused you in Kingston by introducing myself for the millionth time.

Flyzik - Flyzik, I love that you have two modes: TM mode & Flyzik mode. I love it when you slip out of TM mode because you are so chatty and sweet and funny and it’s a shame more people don’t experience it because you are usually so so busy. You are great at your job and it is quite frankly the best job in the world. You are a legend!

Colussy - I never got to see you bust those moves on the dancefloor but I have experienced many more hilarious moments with you. Like Jack, your memory astounds me and I don’t think you guys will know how much it meant to me when you told Jack that there was no way I had been at the Glasgow dance party as I had started uni in Salford that day haha Well remembered!

Jeff - Mr Jeffrey Maker I don’t think I can ever thank you enough. I’m glad I finally said ‘hi’ to you instead of being the annoying girl who tweets you all the time because you are so awesome! Most of my favourite memories from this tour are all down to you and you are one of the nicest and funniest people I have met despite you doing the worst and most stereotypical english accent ever haha! Knickers!

Danny - I don’t think I will ever forget the way your face lit up when we gave you that keyring in Dublin. You were like a kid at Christmas! I’m glad we got to hang a lot more this tour as on previous tours I didn’t see you enough. I admire that you just say what you want and you make me laugh when you don’t even mean to because of it! And you were right about those jeans, you do look good in them you cocky get haha

Vinny - You made me feel ridiculously loved and you wouldn’t even have realised it when you first saw me in Dublin. You just looked so genuinely happy to see me and it quite honestly made my night. As always you have brought many laughs on this tour especially in Birmingham. I will never forget that night. EVER. You’re a fucking bro and I love you!

Evan - Kevin! I love that you are always smiling even if you lose your pennies and can no longer afford a chicken burger haha I know that deep down you loved our dancing skillz at the last show in London and wished you could be boogeying with us! You are so ridiculously sweet and I will miss you!

The Blackout, I have a new love for you and wish I had appreciated you more before this tour! Everybody on this tour has amused me with their onstage and offstage antics so I thank you all very much!

The station guards at Liverpool South Parkway - I was having the worst night ever and you looked after me for over an hour at midnight when I was a crying mess. Thanks for the cup of tea and letting me charge my phone! You possibly saved my life!

@AlexAllTimeLow Stoked for Kerrang! tour! I’m going to eat every single one of you.

So I have decided that I don’t want this year to be like the last couple of months where I was been constantly ill and depressed. In order for this to happen I’ve written a list of stuff to remind me of how I should be living my life :)

• Eat properly: Have three meals at decent times and plan meals to make sure I’m getting enough fruit and veg.
• Money: Get a job, keep money in ISA, budget shopping, write a list of what I actually need before I go shopping and keep up to date on credit card and store card payments. I would say cut down on gigs but FUCK THAT!
• Health: Take Echinacea and multi-vitamins every day to boost my low immune system, clean teeth with whitening toothpaste and use mouthwash regularly, draw back curtains and let light into the room instead of sitting in the dark all the time, open window for fresh air, clean room thoroughly and change bedding at least once a month to get rid of dust, cut down amount of time on computer, when out drinking alcohol don’t have coke as a mixer as the caffeine stops me sleeping, read a book before bed instead going on the computer so brain is less active and I can get to sleep, take make-up off before bed and use heat protection spray on hair, join the gym and walk either to or from University instead of getting the bus all the time.
• Social: Make more of an effort with flatmates so they don’t think I am a mardy bitch who just nags all the time ie don’t spend all the time in my room, go round to Sam & Toni’s flat at least twice a week and go out with them if they’re going anywhere, go out and just generally chat with course friends out of lessons, talk to friends from back home and tour buddies at least once a week, phone Ashley at least once a week, still check twitter and tumblr etc everyday so I know what bands are doing and I don’t miss out, keep in touch with Gloria via Skype and ocassionally facebook friends from USA/Canada because I still miss them!
• University: Do assignments as soon as and not on the last minute to save stress, practice shorthand every other night, actually go to lessons and not stay in bed just because of a slight snuffle (unless I am on tour), join a club so it looks good on my CV and keeps me occupied and keep notes organised

I think that’s it! That was really boring, I know but I just wanted to post it so that you lot can help me enforce it!

because I realised it was a complete rip off of Beccy’s old username. I knew it sounded familiar when I thought of it!!

So I went to see the film Paranormal Activity on Friday and it has completely freaked me. I was fine watching it but now, when I’m lying in bed at night, I keep thinking back to certain scenes and I get absolutely terrified.

I have valid reasons for my terror and I’m going to explain them now even if it makes me sound completely insane.

I don’t want to ruin the film for those who haven’t seen it but it’s important I just mention this for my stories to make sense. The focus of the film is on the female character who, starting from when she was 8 years old, would see a dark shadow standing over her bed at night. When she moved houses she would still see it, like it followed her wherever she went. It wasn’t a ghost just haunting a place.

Now, up until the age of 7 I lived in a big house in the country which had a long corridor that linked all the rooms in the house. The kitchen was at the bottom of the corridor and if you sat at a certain seat at the table you could see all the way down the corridor to the front door. That was my seat. Every night at dinner time I would watch down the corridor and see a black shape move across the hall, going from one door to the next. It would only ever get as far as the dining room and it would disappear. I can’t fully explain what it was, but it was like a dark shadow.

For some reason, it took a long time for this to fully freak me out. I was only young and I was more curious than scared of it but one day, my mum recalls, I completely freaked and refused to sit on that chair. Apparently, I was crying and screaming and saying something about a ghost. My dad, the skeptic, told me I was being silly and it was just my vivid imagination. He even made a joke of it calling what I had seen ‘The Phantom’ and Dad, being a dad, would spend most days after that making me jump and pretending to be ghost.

I don’t remember seeing it much after that but, in the same house, I went down ‘exploring’ through a hatch underneath the foundations and I swear to God that I saw two yellow eyes watching me while I was down there. We thought it could have been a cat or something but I checked the whole place and I couldn’t see anywhere where it would have got it in.

When I was 7 years old, we moved into a brand new house but strange things still happened to me. I swore I saw that shadow outside my bedroom window one night and at the end of my room when I woke up another night.

Something that I will always remember is pushing my wind-up alarm clock to the back of my dresser so that it wouldn’t fall off, turning over to fall asleep and then turning back again to find it had moved a good few inches forward. Vibrations, earth tremours, maybe? Confused, I pushed it back again, turned over and I heard a loud ‘PING!’ You know, the type of noise that goes right down your spine and makes you shiver. I looked and the clock was on the floor.

Now for move number three, the house I currently live in when I’m back home from university. I have woken up and had ‘the phantom’ stood over my bed and, having blinked several times, it still wouldn’t disappear from my sight. I would hear my name being called, thinking it was my mum but it never was and I’ve heard people talking in my room when there has been nobody there.

Once, I was home alone sat at the computer, the electricity went crazy. The lights flickered, the tv came on and off, the stereo volume went up and down but the computer that I was sat at stayed completely the same. It was all on the opposite side of the room to me. This will sound stupid but, being on my own, I screamed ‘JUST FUCK OFF AND LEAVE ME ALONE, I’VE HAD ENOUGH!’ and everything stopped.

That’s the last time I remember anything like that happening to me.

There was a time just before this when I went on a ghost walk around Edinburgh and we were down in some tunnels under the ground. We were in the room that was supposedly the most haunted and I just couldn’t stop staring at an area of the room. I couldn’t see anything but I was just frozen, not taking my eyes off it whilst the guide was rambling on. The only time I listened was when they pointed to where I had been staring and said that that was where the ghost would stand.

For those of you who have seen Paranormal Activity, does this sound familiar? Can you see why I am shit-scared now, even though the film is apparently fictional? I don’t normally scare easy but the themes in that film really shook a nerve with me. As soon as they mentioned the black shadow thing, I thought we should’ve left the cinema but me being me, I had to stick it out.

Although, I’m not religious, I get scared if I think of things like demons and seeing that film has made it so much worse. I worry that there is something evil following me now and I’m scared I’ve pissed it off in some way. If I try and sleep and just get horrible images and faces in my head. I’m sure it’ll pass but at the moment it is really bothering me and that’s why I’ve blogged about it, to get it off my chest.

My dad still doesn’t believe me to this day but my Mum does. She told me she saw the ghost of a child when she was babysitting at a house in our village when she was a teenager and she told me her sister, my auntie, was at one of those National Trust Houses once and sensed something in the corner of a gallery. As she left, the room attendant asked if she was alright and she said she had got a chill from the corner of the room. The lady said that it happens to some people and some have even seen the ghost of a maid sat on the chair in that corner.

I guess we are all freaks in my family!
